Prince Anofi Olanrewaju Elegushi, the Commissioner of Operations at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), today represented the Chairman/CEO, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, at the 2025 Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR) Post-Hajj Lecture and Recognition Ceremony.
The event, themed “For the Interest of Pilgrims,” took place at the Conference Hall of the National Mosque, Abuja. It brought together key stakeholders and dignitaries in the Hajj industry to reflect on the successes and challenges of the just-concluded pilgrimage, with emphasis on improving services for Nigerian pilgrims.
Also present at the gathering was NAHCON’s Director of Administration and Human Resources, Alhaji Alidu Shuti, alongside other notable personalities who graced the occasion.
The IHR Post-Hajj Lecture remains a key platform for dialogue and recognition, fostering collaboration among Hajj managers, stakeholders, and the media in advancing the welfare of pilgrims.
