The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has opened applications for interested and qualified medical personnel to apply for the membership of 2027 national Medical Team

GUIDELINES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION FOR THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE NATIONAL MEDICAL TEAM (NMT) FOR THE 2027 HAJJ EXERCISE

Note: ONLY ELIGIBLE MEDICAL PERSONNEL ARE TO APPLY
1. The 2027 National Medical Team (NMT) Operation will be conducted strictly on a volunteer basis, in line with international standards as approved by NAHCON Management.

2. The information you provide will be used to determine your eligibility and qualification for the next stage of screening or examination.

3. All information submitted is subject to verification. Any omission, misrepresentation, or falsification of information may result in the rejection of your application or removal from the eligibility list.

4. This application is completely free. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) does not charge any fee i.e. directly or indirectly, or through any agent or agency for this application. Please beware!

5. Submitting the application form does not guarantee eligibility or selection for this position.

6. Age requirements for applicants are as follows:
• Doctors: 27–60 years
• Pharmacists: 26–60 years
• Nurses and all other categories: 22–60 years

7. Applicants seeking NMT membership must:
i. Be in active service at the time of application.
ii. Not have participated in the last three Hajj Operations (2023, 2024, and 2025).
iii. Be willing to work for 28 days and remain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days before returning to Nigeria.

8. Successful applicants will not be disengaged for any reason before completing their assigned 28 days of duty.

9. All successful applicants must demonstrate good conduct and adhere to their professional code of ethics as well as any additional rules and regulations issued by NAHCON for NMT operations.

10. Each application must include a guarantor’s attestation.
• The guarantor must be a credible individual who is either a Career Civil Servant (not below GL 15), a Traditional ruler, a Magistrate, or a Local Government Chairman.
• The guarantor must have known the applicant for at least five years and be able to vouch for their integrity, competence, and capability.
• He/She must be willing to submit a copy of his/her identity cards or any mode of identification accepted in the Nigerian Public offices.

11. The following documents must be attached to the application:
a. Completed guarantor’s form
b. Basic professional certificate
c. NYSC certificate (where applicable)
d. Current annual professional practicing license
e. Passport-style profile picture (white background)
f. Applicant’s declaration
g. Employer’s clearance letter

ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO AFTER EVERY STAGE.
ALL SUCCESSFUL PERSONNEL ARE TO SERVE ON VOLUNTARY BASIS.
