The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has signed agreements with two Saudi-based service providers, Mashariq Al Dhahabia and Daleel Al Muaalem, to handle key aspects of the 2026 Hajj operations for Nigerian pilgrims.
Under the deal, signed on September 24, 2025, in Saudi Arabia, Mashariq Al Dhahabia will be responsible for providing services at the Masha’ir for state pilgrims, while Daleel Al Muaalem will oversee transportation arrangements throughout the pilgrimage period.
NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, said the firms were retained following their excellent performance in recent years. “Both companies delivered very good services during the last Hajj, which is why they have been selected again. However, we expect them to do even more for the guests of Ar-Rahman in 2026,” he stated.
Mashariq Al Dhahabia, which has consistently handled the largest number of Nigerian pilgrims since 2023, was widely praised for its top-rated services during the 2025 Hajj.
The commission noted that the agreement is part of early preparations to ensure seamless service delivery and an improved experience for Nigerian pilgrims next year.
