Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has appointed former APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the State Amirul Hajj for 2025 contingent.
The Governor announced this development when he received a delegation led by Senator Abdullahi Adamu on a thank you visit to the Governor at the government house in Lafia. Thursday.
Gov Sule said the appointment of the Nasarawa State former governor was part of his desire to ensure smooth 2025 operations.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu who was accompanied by the Executive Secretary of the board Mallam Idris Almakura, the newly appointed Board Chairman and his Members, scholars, expressed gratitude to the governor for finding him worthy of the appointment and promised to discharge his responsibility effectively.
In an interview, the Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Idris Almakura applauded the Governor for appointing Senator Abdullahi Adamu, considering his pedigree in human development.
Almakura promised to liaise with Amirul Hajj and the board members to achieve a successful 2025 hajj operation.
