Nusuk has released the official timelines for the 2026 Hajj, outlining key dates for account creation, package viewing, payments, and quota allocation ahead of next year’s pilgrimage.

According to the schedule, pilgrims can begin creating their Nusuk profiles on 7 October 2025, after which verification will take place continuously. Once approved, pilgrims will be able to add up to eight companions and access the full platform.

Hajj packages are expected to go live from 21 December 2025, subject to confirmation by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Pilgrims will also be able to activate and fund their Nusuk e-wallets from the same date, allowing them to prepare for package selection.

Nusuk has set 21 December 2025 to 19 January 2026 as the period for ensuring the full package amount is loaded into the e-wallet, urging intending pilgrims to be ready for immediate payment once bookings open.

Package booking and quota allocation will begin on 20 January 2026, operating strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. South Africa has been allocated a phase-one quota of 1,140 slots, with up to 50 percent available to foreign nationals holding permanent residence. Any remaining spaces after phase one will be opened to all countries in subsequent phases.

Nusuk advised pilgrims to rely on its official Hajj website for updates, noting that all dates remain tentative pending final confirmation by the Ministry.
