The Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board has announced that the first batch of 316 pilgrims will depart Saudi Arabia for Nigeria on June 20, 2025.
According to the Board’s Secretary, Omoniyi Mohammed Mutiu, preparations are in progress, including the weighing of luggage. Pilgrims are reminded to comply with the approved weight limits of 32kg for main luggage and 8kg for hand luggage, and to avoid carrying prohibited items.
Chairman Adam Chandy Zikrillah praised the pilgrims for their good conduct and urged them to remain law-abiding, observe proper behavior at the airport, and follow all travel guidelines. The Board also confirmed that each pilgrim will receive 5 liters of Zamzam water upon arrival in Ilorin.
