On May 15, 2025, the Agency for Religious Affairs at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah launched the largest global Quranic enrichment initiative to date. This monumental program, introduced during the sacred Hajj season, aims to elevate Quranic education and deepen the spiritual journey of pilgrims and Muslims worldwide.
Led by Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, the project seeks to strengthen the global Muslim community’s connection with the Holy Quran through contemplation, memorization, education, and the application of Tajweed. It also promotes the Quran’s values of moderation and peace across humanity.
The program is structured into enrichment tracks that include global support for memorization circles and scholarly contributions. A cornerstone of the initiative is the launch of a comprehensive digital platform. This platform offers Quran recitation, Tajweed instruction, and memorization tools using modern artificial intelligence and analytical reporting.
Teachers are carefully selected for their scholarly qualifications, and the environment is designed to encourage high-quality learning. The integrated administrative system ensures that content delivery, student performance, and engagement are continuously monitored with precision.
This visionary initiative is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s commitment to preserving Islamic heritage while embracing innovation for global benefit—aligning deeply with Vision 2030’s cultural, educational, and technological aspirations.
