The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has approved the renewal of contracts for the honourable Imams and Khateebs of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The announcement was made in a statement by the President of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, who expressed deep gratitude to the Saudi leadership. He described the approval as a testament to the Kingdom’s continued dedication to the spiritual care of the Haramain and its alignment with the goals of Vision 2030.
“This gracious approval is a reflection of the wise leadership’s unwavering support for the religious institutions that serve millions of Muslims around the world,” Al-Sudais said.
The renewal underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to maintaining the sanctity and efficient administration of Islam’s two holiest sites.
