As preparations intensify for Hajj 1446 AH, the Saudi Ministry of Interior has issued a stern directive, and no one will be allowed into Makkah without a valid Hajj permit. The new measures aim to ensure safety, security, and smooth management of the annual pilgrimage.
According to the Ministry, Sunday, 13th of April 2025, marks the final date for entry into the Kingdom for Umrah pilgrims, while Tuesday, 29th of April 2025, is the last permissible day for Umrah exits.
Starting from 23rd of April 2025, only individuals with a Hajj permit or a Makkah-issued residency ID or work permit will be granted access to the holy city.
From 29th of April to June 2025, all visa holders except those with an official Hajj visa will be prohibited from entering or remaining in Makkah. During this period, Umrah permits on the Nusuk platform will be suspended.
The Ministry urged full cooperation from pilgrims, residents, and travel agencies to ensure a safe and organised Hajj season.
