MADINAH — The Madinah Health Cluster has introduced an ambulance scooter service at the Prophet’s Mosque to provide rapid medical assistance to visitors during the holy month of Ramadan 2025.

The initiative aims to enhance emergency response efficiency by enabling medical teams to swiftly reach patients in need of urgent care.

The new service, designed to support emergency operations within the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque, facilitates quick intervention for emergency and critical cases.

The mobility of the ambulance scooter allows paramedics to navigate through dense crowds of worshippers and visitors, ensuring immediate medical attention before transferring patients to nearby healthcare facilities.

Since its launch at the beginning of Ramadan, the service has already provided medical care to 91 cases.

The Madinah Health Cluster confirmed that all cases requiring further treatment were transferred to health facilities within the central region, including Al-Salam Endowment Hospital, Al-Haram Hospital, and urgent care centers at Al-Safiya and Bab Jibril.
