The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia Islamabad has cautioned intending pilgrims against the use of inappropriate mobile phone ringing tones within the Two Holy Mosques and other sacred Hajj sites.

The advisory followed a proposal by Mohammad Wasim, urging increased awareness among pilgrims on maintaining decorum during religious rites.

In a response on behalf of the Ambassador, Hilal Bin Mehdi Al-Hakami assured that the suggestion would receive due consideration, noting that it aligns with efforts to promote discipline and reverence at Islam’s holiest sites.

Al-Hakami also conveyed the appreciation of the Ambassador for the initiative, describing it as a reflection of commitment to matters that benefit the Muslim community.

He prayed for continued good health and the acceptance of good deeds from all concerned.
