The Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has appreciated the Chairman Nigerian Governor’s Forum and Governor AbdulRahmam AbdulRasaq for the renovation of Hajj Camp to have a hitch free Hajj exercise from the state.
The Chairman, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Mahmud-Jimba, who led other members of the Board stated this while inspecting the renovation of the Hajj Camp along Ilorin West Local Government Secretariat, Ilorin.
Professor Mahmud-Jimba commended Governor AbdulRahmam AbdulRasaq for the Hajj Camp, urged the pilgrims from the state to continue to pray for his administration to have a successful tenure.
Also speaking, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji AbdulSalam Abdulkadir described Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as an action governor who always put the wellbeing of the people as a priority.
Alhaji Abdulkadir expressed appreciation to the Governor AbdulRasaq for the developmental projects across the state including the renovation of Hajj Camp and promised the support of the Board in its bid to have hitch-free Hajj exercises in the state.
They also acknowledge the support of this year’s Amir-Hajj, Senator Ibrahim Yahaya-Oloriegbe for his contribution towards the successful completion of the Hajj Camp and other logistics needed for intending pilgrims from the state
