A Saudi-based service provider approved by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has commenced early preparations for Nigerian pilgrims ahead of the 2026 Hajj, with activities already underway in Mina.

Mashariq Al Dhahabia Sana disclosed that it has deployed personnel and logistics teams to begin the installation of camps and facilities that will host Nigerian pilgrims during the pilgrimage.

Speaking to Hajj Reporters, the Director of Nigerian Hajj Services, Hateem Tunka, said the company had conducted detailed inspections of designated camp locations in Mina as well as the Arafat plains.

Tunka added that security personnel had been stationed at various locations to safeguard equipment and ensure smooth installation processes.

According to him, preparations also include the deployment of modern cooling systems and heat-mitigating bedding to enhance comfort and safety for pilgrims during the peak Hajj period.
