The Executive Secretary of Gombe State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Alh Sa’adu Hassan Adamu has said that only three intending pilgrims missed the 2023 Hajj in the state.

The ES disclosed this in an interview with HAJJ REPORTERS in Makkah on Monday.

According to him, the three intending pilgrims in question missed this year’s Hajj due to accident they had in Nigeria.

He explained that “out of the 2592 visas we have been issued, only 3 had missed the Hajj die to accident. It was a challenging experience at the beginning but Glory be to God, it was a success eventually,”

The ES also stated that the Gombe state accommodation is the biggest in Makkah that houses 1,600 pilgrims.

He also said that the accommodation is the closest to Haram among Nigerian pilgrims’ accommodations.
