Nigerian Consulate in Jeddah, NAHCON Strengthen Ties for Seamless 2025 Hajj

The Nigerian Consulate in Jeddah has pledged closer collaboration with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure a smooth and successful 2025 Hajj operation.

 

A statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs Muhammad Ahmad Musa in Makkah said ‘The commitment was reaffirmed during a strategic stakeholder meeting at the Consulate, where NAHCON’s Deputy Coordinator in Makkah, Alidu Shutti—representing Chairman Abdullahi Saleh Usman—led a delegation on a courtesy visit.

 

Shutti praised the Consulate’s support in past operations and highlighted ongoing preparations in the Masha’er areas. He expressed confidence in the partnership delivering improved services for Nigerian pilgrims.

 

Deputy Consul General Ismail Muhammad, who represented Consul General Ibrahim Mu’azzam Nayaya, assured NAHCON of the Consulate’s full readiness to support pilgrims with consular services throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia.

 

The renewed alliance reflects a proactive approach to safeguarding the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims and delivering a well-coordinated Hajj experience in 2025.
