Saudi-based Hajj service provider, Sana, has commended Hajj Reporters for their outstanding coverage of the 2025 Hajj exercise.
The company praised the media platform for its timely and factual reporting, which it said played a key role in highlighting operational successes and addressing pilgrims’ concerns.
Representatives of Sana noted that Hajj Reporters’ commitment to accurate journalism contributed to improved transparency and better communication among service providers, regulatory agencies, and pilgrims.
The commendation was given on Wednesday in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, when top officials of the company, led by Muhammad Ameen Sambau hosted the national coordinator of Independent Hajj Reporters, Ibrahim Muhammad, in their office.
“I have been following you on Twitter since 2022 and have been wondering how you people have access to hajj and umrah information from all over the world, always posting and up to date. Alhamdullahi, we were joined together by Almighty Allah this year to serve your country pilgrims.
Mr Sambau also presented an appreciation plaque to IHR, which was received by the national coordinator.
The company also expressed hope for continued collaboration in future Hajj operations.
Speaking on the recognition, Mallam Ibrahim said it will spur not only himself but all members of IHR to continue to do their best in the interest of all pilgrims.
“This recognition is particularly gladdening because it shows that not only Nigerians, but all stakeholders across the globe are watching the little we are doing to protect the interests of guests of Ar Rahman. We can only continue to do more insha Allah”, he said.
