The South African Hajj and Umrah Council (SAHUC) has commenced preliminary preparations for the 1447H/2026 Hajj season, following a meeting of its General Council members held today in Johannesburg.
According to SAHUC, formal announcements regarding operational arrangements and timelines will be made in the coming days or weeks, in Shaa Allah.
The council also revealed that its Dynamic Registration Portal, which enables prospective pilgrims to check their position in the Hajj queue, will be published soon. Pilgrims will be notified once the portal goes live.
SAHUC assured the public of its commitment to a transparent and efficient planning process ahead of the next Hajj exercise.
