Saudi Arabia deports 110 Nigerians

Saudi Arabian authorities have recently deported 110 Nigerians back to the country for immigration related offences.

This was revealed on Monday in Abuja by the Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, at the maiden Joint Security Press briefing.

The DG said of the 110 deported citizens, 60 were males, while 50 were females, adding that they were deported for overstaying and improper documentation.

Saudi Arabian authorities have recently undertaken the mass deportation of illegal immigrants from many countries.

Mallam Issa-Onilu at the briefing advises Nigerians to “avoid irregular migration. Trust the NOA and Nigeria Immigration Service for guidance on legal mobility options”

He also said that through international partnerships and domestic vigilance, Nigeria is retooling its border immigration systems to block irregular migration and human trafficking.
