The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has scheduled a meeting with all licensed tour operators to deliberate on new policies for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

According to a notice issued by Hafsatu Baba Tela, Assistant Director, Tour Operator Division, on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission, the meeting will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the NAHCON Auditorium, Hajj House, Abuja, by 11:00 a.m.

The session is expected to address policy directions and operational guidelines for private tour operators ahead of the 2026 Hajj, with commissioners, the secretary, and top management staff of the Commission in attendance.

Industry observers say the meeting will be critical for harmonising NAHCON’s regulatory framework with operators’ service delivery, especially as preparations intensify for the next Hajj season.
