The Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has announced the final fare for the 2026 Hajj at ₦8,118,333.67 per pilgrim, in line with the directive of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Executive Chairman of the commission, Alhaji Mai Aliyu Usman, confirmed the amount on Wednesday, noting that the announcement ends earlier uncertainty over the actual cost of the spiritual exercise.
He urged intending pilgrims to commence payment immediately, stressing that full or installment payments must be completed on or before December 31, 2025, to secure a slot.
Mai Aliyu advised pilgrims to comply with NAHCON and Saudi authorities’ guidelines, while commending Governor Mai Mala Buni for his continued support to the commission.
