Mashariq Al Dhahabia, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON)-approved service provider for the 2026 Hajj, has announced plans to retain its free service offers to Nigerian pilgrims and introduce new welfare packages.
The NAHCON-approved 2026 Hajj service providers for Nigerian pilgrims said they are determined to provide excellent service in the forthcoming Hajj, saying they will not let down the confidence reposed in them by Nigerian pilgrims.
Independent observers who assessed service providers during the 2025 Hajj had ranked Mashariq ahead of other service provider, citing better logistics, improved facilities, and enhanced support for pilgrims, particularly in Mina and Makkah.
The report noted that Mashariq introduced innovations such as electronic signboards to help pilgrims locate tents, additional urinary points to reduce queues, and social tents for tea preparation. It also provided flat mattresses for better space management, extra fans as backup to air conditioners, and promptly handed over clinics to the NAHCON medical team.
Pilgrims further commended Mashariq for gestures outside contractual obligations, including offering extra tent space and distributing Al Baik meals to departing Nigerians. After the hajj exercise, States like Yobe honoured the management of Sana (Mashariq Al Dhahabia ) for providing excellent service to their pilgrims
The review concluded that Mashariq Al Dhahabia delivered superior and complementary services during the 2025 Hajj, a standard the company says it is determined to exceed in 2026.
