The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced December 14, 2025, as the new deadline for the completion of Hajj fare payments and documentation ahead of the 2026 pilgrimage.
Director General of the Board, Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, disclosed this during a meeting with local government Hajj officers and staff in Kano. He said the adjustment followed directives from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to enable smooth planning and logistics.
Danbappa warned that no payments or registrations would be accepted after the deadline, as arrangements for accommodation, transportation, and welfare services in Saudi Arabia would begin immediately.
Chairman of the Board, Yusif Lawan, urged intending pilgrims to visit their local Hajj centers or zonal offices to confirm payments and complete necessary documentation. He prayed for the successful preparation of all intending pilgrims.
