Top Officials, Experts to Headline Hajj and Umrah Conference in Jeddah

The 5th Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition will open on November 10, 2025, with a series of high-level lectures and panel discussions focusing on innovation, integration, and sustainability in serving pilgrims.

 

The three-day event, themed “From Vision to Reality: Integrated Sectors in Serving Pilgrims,” will bring together ministers, scholars, and industry experts to discuss key topics shaping the future of Hajj management.

 

Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, and Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Majed Al-Hogail, will lead the opening session on “Integration and Operational Excellence in Managing the Pilgrim’s Journey.”

 

Other sessions will explore “Preventive Safety for Pilgrims,” “Building a National Framework for Developing Human Capital in Pilgrim Services,” and *“Innovative Solutions for Crowd Management.”

 

Speakers include Major General Nasser Al-Nasser, Assistant Director of Public Security; Ms. Hedayah Bakhorji, Assistant Deputy Minister; and Lord Wajid Khan, former UK Minister for Faith, who will speak on “Hajj: A Global Symbol of Human Unity.”

 

The conference will also feature the “Excellence in Pilgrim Services Award” ceremony, highlighting achievements in the non-profit sector, as well as sessions on renewable energy and sustainability in holy cities.

 

Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the annual forum serves as a key platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and unveiling of new policies and technologies for improving the Hajj and Umrah experience.
