The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has directed all State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards to remit all collected Hajj fares on or before Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
A highly placed source told Hajj Reporters that the commission has warned states not to delay the remittance, stressing that it may not grant any further extension beyond the deadline.
According to the source, the directive is part of ongoing preparations to ensure smooth planning and timely coordination of logistics for the 2026 Hajj operations.
NAHCON is said to be intensifying efforts to finalise arrangements with service providers, urging states to comply promptly to avoid disruptions in accommodation, transportation and other essential services for intending pilgrims.
