Around 450 km, across the desert.

There is no underground pipe connecting the two cities.

Instead, Zamzam is carried by a carefully managed fleet of tankers — often called a mobile pipeline.

More than 290 tons of Zamzam are transported daily.

Stored in special stainless-steel tanks.

Monitored to keep the water pure, safe, and cool.

All of this, so that when you enter Masjid Nabawi,

a cup of Zamzam is already there — waiting.
