The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the completion of yellow card processing for all intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj.
Director-General of the board, Ahmad Labbo, disclosed this, describing the development as a major milestone in the state’s preparations for the pilgrimage.
He noted that the yellow card remains a mandatory requirement for travel to Saudi Arabia, adding that sorting of the cards based on pilgrims’ groups has commenced.
Labbo said Jigawa is among the leading states in finalising arrangements for the 2026 Hajj, with ongoing orientation and training exercises across all local government areas.
He commended staff of the board for their dedication and cooperation in ensuring a smooth process.
The director-general also appreciated the Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, for his continued support toward the board’s activities.
