Jigawa State Muslim Pilgrims Board Repaid N3.4 Billion Hajj Slot to State Government

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has returned a total of 3.4 billion Naira to the state government treasury.

This loan was originally provided by His Excellency, the State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, to help with the timely securing of Hajj seats for 2026 operations.

Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo, the Board’s Director General, officially handed over the funds, ensuring full accountability without any interest.

He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Namadi for his continued efforts to advance Hajj operations and welfare services in the state.
