The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has commenced the distribution of slots to Tour Operator Companies licensed to participate in the 2027 Hajj

The process of allocation of slots was initiated after the Commission formally approved and released the lists of 140 private companies that will be allowed to register and conduct the 2027 Hajj exercise.

Hajj Reporters learned that the approved companies have been grouped according to their category of licensing requirements, with Category A getting a slightly higher allocation than those in Category B. The second category also has more allocations than those in Group C

However, the commission is currently reviewing cases of some Companies who appealed against their non-qualification from the initial approved lists of Private Tour Operators for the 2027 Hajj exercise.

An insider informed Hajj Reporters

Yes, “The committee established to scrutinise the Companies has received some complaints, and they are going to be handled accordingly without any favouritism because we were directed to apply the same rules to all those who applied for the licenses.
