The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the complete sale of its allotted seats for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.

Speaking in his office, the Board’s Director General, Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo (FCFA, NFI), revealed that the board has formally requested an additional seat allocation from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to meet the overwhelming demand from intending pilgrims across the state.

Alhaji Labbo stated that, while the registration portal for passport data capture is currently closed, the Forum of State Hajj Chairmen has asked NAHCON to reopen it.

He expressed optimism that the national commission will approve the request shortly to allow more intending pilgrims to complete their documentation.

The Director General concluded by commending the staff of the board for their dedication and hard work, which have driven the smooth progress of this year’s Hajj operations.
