Alhaji Kabir Bature Sarkin Alhazai, the chairman of the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has tendered his resignation.
In 2023, Governor Dikko Umar Radda appointed Sarkin Alhazai.
In a letter to the Secretary of the Katsina State Government, he announced his resignation, but he gave no explanation.
He thanked Governor Radda in the letter for providing him with the chance to serve the state, stating that his tenure on the board enabled him to commit himself to serving the public.
He also thanked the state government for the opportunity to serve, while expressing gratitude for the cooperation and support he received from the Secretary to the State Government, members of the State Executive Council, staff of the Pilgrims Welfare Board, and other stakeholders during his tenure.
