Adamawa Hadaya Committee Completes Ram Sacrifice Payments for 608 Pilgrims

The Hadaya Committee of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has successfully concluded final payments for the ritual sacrifice on behalf of 608 pilgrims for Hajj 2025.

 

Dr. Bashir Imam Aliyu, chairman of the committee, confirmed that each pilgrim paid SR 560 for the Hadaya sacrifice, with all rams officially slaughtered in accordance with Islamic and procedural standards.

 

The payment was formally handed over to the Managing Director of Lil Mawashi Company, Al-Sheikh Muhammad Shair Al-Shareef, by the committee chairman. The entire process was overseen by committee members to ensure transparency and compliance.

 

A representative of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Bolaji Ibrahim, who also serves as the secretary of the commission’s Hadaya committee, witnessed the exercise.

 

Officials expressed satisfaction with the orderly execution and reaffirmed their commitment to upholding religious obligations and pilgrim trust.
