The Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) has expressed gratitude to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for the smooth and efficient processing of 2025 Hajj visas for Nigerian pilgrims.
In a letter dated May 8 and addressed to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, AHUON described the visa handling as “seamless” and a major source of relief and confidence for both tour operators and intending pilgrims.
Signed by AHUON President Abdullateef Yusuf Ekundayo and Secretary Nasir Muhammed Chamo, the letter also highlighted longstanding challenges related to Tent A accommodations and services in Mina.
“We kindly urge the Ministry to prioritize and address these grey areas, ensuring that clear and favorable arrangements are finalized well ahead of the Hajj dates,” the letter stated.
AHUON called for continued collaboration and timely resolutions of emerging issues to ensure a smooth Hajj experience, while reiterating its support for the efforts of both the Saudi authorities and Nigeria’s Hajj commission.
