Hajiya Rabiat Umar, Managing Director of Alkauthar Travels and Tours Ltd, Abuja, has called on Hajj and Umrah stakeholders to set aside negativity and work in unity to improve pilgrimage services.

In her remarks at the Independent Hajj Reporters Annual Lecture and Awards held at the National Mosque Auditorium in Abuja, Umar stressed that despite challenges, the 2025 Hajj exercise was not a total failure as many stakeholders gave their best.

She said Alkauthar has acknowledged its lapses to customers and pledged to improve ahead of the 2026 Hajj. “Nigerian pilgrims deserve better, and we can achieve this, insha Allah. We are human, we make mistakes, but it is important to learn from those mistakes and avoid committing them again,” she stated.

Umar urged stakeholders to support each other, identify solutions to recurring challenges, and focus on ensuring pilgrims receive quality service, adding that unity in the sector would yield both professional success and spiritual reward.
