The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced August 31, 2025, as the deadline for pilgrims who participated in the 2023 Hajj exercise to claim their refunds.
In a statement issued by the Board’s Public Relations Officer, pilgrims are advised to submit their relevant travel documents and bank account details to the committee established for the refund process before the deadline.
Pilgrims who performed the Hajj through the Board in 2023 but do not possess personal bank accounts are required to present valid evidence of participation to the committee for verification. Upon confirmation, an open cheque will be issued to enable them to collect their refunds.
The Board urged all eligible pilgrims to take advantage of the window to process their claims before the set date.
