The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board will hold the fourth phase of its education and orientation programme for intending pilgrims ahead of the 2026 Hajj.

The exercise is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 at the Board’s permanent Hajj transit camp in Bassan Jiwa, near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

According to a statement signed by the Chief Information Officer, Ahmad Saleh, the programme will include the physical grouping of pilgrims in preparation for airlift, as well as practical sessions on Hajj and Umrah rites led by clerics.

The Board said the orientation forms part of early arrangements to ensure a smooth and hitch-free pilgrimage.

It added that the exercise would be conducted in seven Nigerian languages; English, Hausa, Yoruba, Fulfulde, Nupe, Gana-Gana and Egbira across different classes to enhance understanding among participants.
