The FCT Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards said it will introduce new policies to enhance hajj service delivery to its pilgrims

The Director of the board, Alh Kadiri Edah, in a chat with HAJJ REPORTERS, said the board is determined to provide better service to its pilgrims this year, hence the introduction of pilgrim-oriented services.

The distribution of pilgrims’ accommodation in Makkah will be done in Nigeria, and we have constituted a committee to handle the distribution.

“Also, we are going to inform our pilgrims during the orientation that they can pick their roommates right from here which will reduce pressure on our accommodation distribution committee and also allow families and friends who wish to stay together in a room to do so.”

Kadiri said he understands that the issue of feeding has been a complex challenge for pilgrims and hajj administrators because of the choice of menu and also the time factors.

“We are going to engage the services of food specialists and nutritionists to ensure that our pilgrims are served with the best available meals and also ensure that their food aligns with what we agreed with the service providers”
