Saudi Arabia’s 2022 census has revealed the top foreign national communities residing in the Kingdom, with workers from Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan forming the largest expatriate groups.
According to the data, Bangladesh tops the list with 2.1 million residents, followed closely by India with 1.88 million, and Pakistan with 1.81 million. Yemen ranks fourth with 1.8 million, while Egypt rounds out the top five with 1.47 million nationals.
Other major expatriate populations include Sudan (819,600), the Philippines (725,900), and Syria (449,300). Nigeria stands at 19th place with 79,500 residents.
The figures highlight Saudi Arabia’s continued reliance on foreign workers across key sectors such as construction, domestic services, healthcare, and transportation.
