The Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad Kauran Bauchi has approved a release of the sum of SR300 to each of the state pilgrims who performed this year hajj in Saudi Arabia.
Governor Bala Abdulkadir made the declaration yesterday during his Special visit at the Bauchi tents in Munna, saying the gesture is deliberate effort by His administration to put smile in the faces of the pilgrims particularly at time they will need the support most.
He pleaded with the pilgrims to use the remaining days in Saudi Arabia to pray for Peace, security and socio-economic development of the State and Nigeria at large.
Earlear, in his welcome address the Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris applauded the Governor for his desire to ensure the wellbeing of pilgrims at home and Saudi Arabia.
Imam Abdurrahman stressed that our pilgrims received best services at home and Saudi Arabia, interns of camping at Bauchi transit Camp, feeding accommodation charged them to reciprocate the gesture.
While advising the pilgrims to utilize the donation properly, charged them not to use it to make an excess luggages
