The commissioner information disclosed this shortly after the council meeting which was chaired by governor Mal Umar Namadi

The meeting reviewed key activities essential for the smooth execution of the 2025 Hajj exercise.

 

Speaking on the preparation Director General Ahamed Umar Labbo express satisfaction with the ongoing arrangement and assure that all necessary logistics have been in place for seamless and compatible exercise

 

Alhaji Ahmed Labbo Adding that Jigawa state government assign Max Air to airlift Jigawa pilgrims.

 

The decision was confirmed by the Director General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo, following a management meeting and signing an agreement with airlines at NAHCON headquarters in Abuja.

 

Alhaji Labbo announced that the airlift of intending pilgrims from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia will commence in May  2025.

 

He said both the traveling bags and uniforms of the intending pilgrims are now ready for collection.

 

Alhaji Labbo reassures Jigawa State pilgrims of a seamless experience at home and Saudi Arabia. The selection of Max Air reflects NAHCON’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and comfort for all pilgrims undertaking this sacred journey.

 

He said the Pilgrim Welfare Board is particular grateful to Governor Umar Namadi for his continued support and leadership which has made the Board transformative and successful in the Hajj operation.
