The Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, ‘Seyi Makinde, FNSE, D.Sc., GSSRS, to bid farewell to Muslim pilgrims from Oyo State embarking on the 2025 Hajj to Saudi Arabia. The event will be held at the Hajj Camp in Olodo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event, will be attended by a high-powered delegation of government officials, religious leaders, and eminent personalities from across the state. Governor Makinde, in his address, urged the pilgrims to be ambassadors of Oyo State and Nigeria and to uphold the values of discipline, patience, and unity during their spiritual journey.
Among those that will accompany the Governor are the Deputy Governor, Barrister Adebayo Abdul-Raheem Lawal, former governors and deputies, members of the state executive council, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Edward Adebo Ogundoyin, judicial officials, and political leaders including members of the PDP State Executive Committee, traditional and religious leaders, and top civil servants.
