Hajj 2023: Niger completes Airlift of 3,710 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

The Executive Secretary Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu Kontagora has urged all the State Pilgrims to include the Nation and leaders in their prayers as Islam teaches.

Sheikh Awwal reiterates the need for the Pilgrims to pray for the Nation especially on the increasing insecurity challenges embedding the State and the Nation.

He reminded them to be law abiding while in Saudi Arabia.

The Exec Sec expressed this while addressing the 10th and last flight of the Niger State Pilgrims to the Holy Land today at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja carrying 397 Pilgrims from Katcha, Lavun, Wushishi and officials.

It could be recalled that the State launched it’s inaugural flight on the 9th of June with 335 Pilgrims from Mariga, Kontagora, Mashegu and Chanchaga.

Niger State has a total number of Three thousand, seven hundred and ten Pilgrims and all have travelled to perform this year’s Hajj.
