Baring any unforeseen circumstances, the remaining Nigerian pilgrims who performed this year’s hajj will be airlifted back home tomorrow Tuesday 1st of August 2023.
A revised airlift schedule seen by HAJJ REPORTERS indicates that the remaining pilgrims from Kaduna and Kano states will be evacuated tomorrow along side remnants from orther states.
NAHCON had earlier set a deadline of 3rd August to complete the second phase of 2023 hajj airlift.
As at today, about 72,000 pilgrims has been airlifted back home by NAHCON after 181 flight operations.
The return airlift began on 4th of July with Flynas Airline carrying Sokoto State pilgrims from the King AbdulAziz International Airport Jeddah to Nigeria.
