The Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has expressed satisfaction with the readiness of the State’s Primary Health care Development Agency to embark on pilgrims vaccination against preventable diseases such as diphtheria, polio and measles.
Imam Abdurrahman expressed satisfaction when he visited the state Medical Store in Bauchi specialist Hospital, Bauchi state capital.
He explained that he was at the State medical store to see for himself the readiness of the State Primary Health Care Agency ahead of statewide vaccination excercise.
The Executive Secretary who was visibly happy over what he saw at the Medical Store, regrets to announced the Inability to commence the vaccination excercise today as earlier scheduled, according to him was due to hitches in the conveyance of the vaccine to state.
He unvailed some little changes in the itinerary of the excercise, saying the Bauchi Local Government prospective Pilgrims, Hajj Savings Scheme HSS, the Board and Government Sponsored Pilgrims will get their vaccine Tomorrow Saturday, *11th to Monday 13th May, 2024* from 10;00 am to 4;00pm at the Bauchi Specialist Hospital (BACAS).
Imam Abdurrahman added that the vaccines would be distribute to all General Hospitals in the state, so they can easily attend to the Local Government intending pilgrims at various Local Governments as scheduled from *Sunday 12th May, 2024.*
While reiterating that the vaccines is in line with requirements set by the Health Authorities in Saudi Arabia for pilgrims in the Hajj season, Imam Abdurrahman urged the intending pilgrims to come along with the slip of their Hajj form for their screening before administering.
In another development, the Jaiz Bank Bauchi State Branch has presents a complementary soveniers to Executive Secretary Bauchi pilgrims welfare Board.
Presenting the soveniers on behalf of the Bank,, the Branch Manager Muhammad Muhammad Gidado pledged readiness of his Bank to maintain a rebust synergy with the Board to provide welfare services to pilgrims.
He stressed that the Bank has put in place measures to provide best services to intending pilgrims.
While recieving the soveniers, the Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris appreciated the gesture, saying all HSS pilgrims have been benefited from the Bank initiative.
He said ” I am very impressed by your commitment towards improving wellbeing of our pilgrims by giving them a soveniers that will assist them in discharging their spiritual services”
