The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON has commenced preparations for the 2024 Hajj with the allocation of 70,000 Hajj slots to state pilgrims boards.
In the approved list for the slots, obtained by Hajj Reporters, the Commission had allocated the Hajj seats to 35 states, including Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
Like always, Armed Forces also got their shares.
In the list, Kaduna state has the highest share with 6,004, followed by Kano with 5,934.
While Abia and Akwa Ibom states got zero slots, Enugu and Anambra states had the lowest share with 14 and 15 slots respectively.
Armed Forces also got 528 slots.
