As the Nigerian contingent to Hajj 2024 get set to return back to the country, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has said that three flights carrying pilgrims from Kebbi, Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will take off on June 22, 2024.
This was revealed by the Head of Aviation at the Commission Enginee Goni Sanda while making a presentation at a post Arafat Conference holding in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
“ Just like we came, that is how we will return, so there will be three flights on June 22 from Kebbi, FCT and Nasarawa,” he said
He also revealed that Kebbi first flight by Saudi based Flynas will be taking off by 6am, that of the FCT operates by Air Peace will take off by 10am while the Nasarawa flight, operated by Max Air will be leaving the Kingdom by 10pm on June 22.
The Head of Aviation also revealed that as the return airlift progresses, Nigeria will operate at least three different fight everyday until the airlift is concluded.
“ The date of return of every pilgrim is 38 days after arrival to the Kingdom,” Mr Goni said.
