Over 2000 intending pilgrims have deposited their Hajj fare with the Zamfara state Hajj commission to perform this year’s pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
This was disclosed by the Permanent Commissioner of Da’awa, Hadaya and publicity committee, Alhaji Iliyasu Buhari Maijega during a chat with media men in his office in Gusau recently.
According to him, the Zamfara state Hajj commission was allocated over 3,000 seats by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria ( NAHCON) .
Alhaji Iliyasu Buhari Maijega further stated that, so far so good, we thank Almighty Allah as presently we pass so many states in Nigeria in terms of good performance of registration and depositing this year’s Hajj exercise in the state.
He also called on the intending pilgrims to strive and complete the remaining balance because the issue of Hajj depended on foreign exchange rates. He hoped the federal government will intervene so that pilgrims will not to pay much money for the this year 2024 Hajj exercise.
