The Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, under the Stewardship of Mallam Idris Almakura, has installed internet and solar facilities to enhance its efficiency.
The Executive Secretary of the board, who disclosed this during the general staff meeting, said the gesture was part of his desire to motivate staff to give their best to the board.
Mallam Almakura charged the staff of the board to handle the facilities with care and to be more committed to their respective duties during and after hajj operations.
On the issue of the 2025 hajj enlightenment exercise, Mallam Idris Almakura noted that plans are underway to organise visual hajj practical for intending pilgrims across the three geopolitical zones of the State.
He maintained that during the enlightenment exercise attendance is compulsory as drastic actions will be taken against defaulters.
Contributing some staff of the board shower encomium to the Executive Secretary for initiating projects that will improve hajj activities in the state.
