The Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has vowed to fish out pregnant prospective female Pilgrims across the State.
Executive Secretary of the board Mallam Idris Almakura announced this during the special pregnancy screening in Lafia.
According to Almakura, the idea behind the screening is to fish out pregnant female intending pilgrims who may have failed to appear during the first screening held last week.
He insisted that all female intending pilgrims must appear in person while the ICT unit will verify her intentity via her data page before the scanning.
Mallam Idris Almakura reiterated that the board will ensure that those female intending pilgrims who fail to come for the scanning were dropped from this year’s hajj.
Earlier, the head of the 2025 Medical Screening team Doctor Muhammad Salihu said all female intending pilgrims will undergo Pregnancy Scanning for accurate results.
The exercise will last for one day.
