The Coordinator of African Pilgrims Service of Mashriq Al Dhahabia, the newly engaged Hajj Service Provider for Nigerian pilgrims, Mr Rami Saleh Ibrahim Labani, has said that he served Nigerian pilgrims for years under his Father’s company before he joined Mashriq Al Dhahabia as a Coordinator of pilgrim services.
Mr Labani, who spoke with HAJJ REPORTERS in his office in Makkah on Sunday, said his company intends to offer Nigerian pilgrims high-quality and timely services during the forthcoming hajj.
“I had the honour of working since childhood with my father, may God have mercy on him, as he was serving the pilgrims of Nigeria. In 1996, I started working officially in the service of the pilgrims of Nigeria for four years as a member of the service offices.
“Then I progressed to the position of Vice President of the Group for 3 years. After that, I became the head of the service group for 11 years.
“Then, in the year 2010, I assumed the position of a member of the Board of Directors of the Africa Foundation,” he said.
Speaking further, In the year 2015, he assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Non-Arab Africa Foundation.
“The company was handed over to the new Board of Directors in the middle of the year 2012.
“All my years of service were spent in the service of Nigeria, praise and thanks be to God” Mr Labani said.
