In a proactive step toward ensuring a seamless Hajj experience, the Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, has dispatched a three-member advance team to Saudi Arabia to secure accommodation for the state’s pilgrims in Makkah.
The team, tasked with overseeing lodging logistics, will work ahead of the pilgrims’ arrival to guarantee comfort and orderliness during the spiritual exercise.
Observers have praised the initiative, describing Adamawa as the only state to deploy such a forward-looking strategy. The move reflects the state government’s strong commitment under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to the welfare of its pilgrims.
The deployment is expected to enhance coordination and ease the experience of the 2025 Hajj pilgrims from Adamawa State.
